about

I am a photographer in the northwest suburbs of Chicago and I’m taking photographs for the love of photography and the people I work with. Working with a person to create something beautiful and meaningful is what drives me and it makes me happy. For me the greatest reward is to see the happiness in my clients face looking at the photograph.

My photographic goals are modest. I am looking for beauty, aesthetics, and visually intriguing subjects. I try to convey a notion and stir emotions while making a photograph that presents the person in the best and flattering way. For me it’s important to tell a story with my pictures because otherwise I find the image has no meaning. It’s about seeing beyond the surface capturing the essence of the person being photographed. This does not only apply to my fine art work but also to senior pictures, fashion shoots or editorial imagery. To me there is no difference in shooting a model for a catalog, a personal portrait for your family album or a boudoir image for your husband.

If you enjoy the imagery on this web site and you'd like to work with me, please send me a short note with no obligations.

By the way, the guy to the right is me bending over backwards for my clients. If you ever catch me staring at you I'm probably in the process of putting a photograph together in my head. Please don't worry too much about it and let me finish.

I'm a photographer in the NW suburbs specializing in - actually nothing - really. The only thing that I don't do is weddings. Everything else - if I can frame it and get the light going - you got it. The holiday season is close and a family or kids portrait may be just the right gift for your loved ones. Do you want to surprise your husband with a stylish boudoir image? I'll be at your service. You're running a business and you need that last moment product shot for your mailer or web site - certainly something I can handle. Your restaurant's menu or fine dining web page needs some updated food pictures? If you can cook it up - I'll take it.
